Ten survival “experts” attempt to survive alone. The winner receives $500,000. This show does a fantastic job of showcasing various survival strategies and tactics. Well worth a watch! TV-14
Survivorman
Outdoorsman and survival expert Les Stroud permits himself to be stranded for a week in a remote location with no equipment or supplies apart from his one-man camera rig, documenting his experience and providing insight into how to manage whatever hurdles the wilderness might throw at him. TV-14
Everest
On May 10, 1996, mountain guides Rob Hall and Scott Fischer combine their expedition teams for a final ascent to the summit of Mount Everest. With little warning, a storm strikes the mountain and the climbers must now battle to survive. Rated PG-13
